We've had an awesome week of learning! We've been learning about the 5 senses and this week we went on a "senses walk" around the school. We also made applesauce today and talked about all of the senses we used throughout the process. The class LOVED the applesauce and many students wanted more (we had just enough for everyone to enjoy a half a cup full). We also did other apple themed centers such as tasting and graphing our favorite apples (red, yellow and green), roll and add apple color sheet, and kindergarten made apple trees by matching up lowercase "apple" letter stickers to uppercase letters on their tree while first graders matched up their "apple" sight word stickers to the sight words on their trees. Enjoy the photos of our fun!
